The Meat Industry Enterprise in Sokołów Podlaski was founded in 1976. However, the company includes companies that date back to the 19th century – in 1899, a slaughterhouse was opened in Poznań (a branch in Robakowo). Currently, the joint-stock company "„SOKOLOW”" comprises seven production companies, with its headquarters located in Sokołów Podlaski. The company is one of the most recognizable brands on the Polish market and also holds export licenses, thanks to which Polish cold cuts and meat they reach markets including: USA, EU, Russia, Ukraine, Korea.

The company uses modern equipment and technologies that allow it to produce a wide range of products. The company produces approximately 22,000 tons meat and his preserves within a month.
